Climate Action and Food Security in Africa
About Us
The Green Africa Project is a non-profit organization, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, on a mission to foster a climate-resilient and sustainable Africa—where eco-farming, reforestation, and innovative environmental solutions uplift communities and combat poverty.
Guided by our motto, “Climate Action and Food Security in Africa,” we work hand-in-hand with local partners, schools, and governments to address pressing challenges such as deforestation, reliance on wood fuel, pollution, and inadequate waste management.
By providing farmers with free, high-value tree seedlings, promoting alternative energy sources, and organizing community clean-up campaigns, we aim to protect ecosystems, sequester carbon, and enrich the livelihoods of rural and urban communities alike.
At The Green Africa Project, we believe that every person has a role to play in safeguarding our planet. Through education, community engagement, and sustainable practices, we empower African communities to secure a greener tomorrow—one seedling at a time.
